I had an idea the other day (actually I stole it from another group I'm part of, see details below [img]wink.gif[/img] )

Basically the proposal is this:
I get one of my vintage cameras cleaned up and ready to go, and we send it around the country/world to each person involved. They keep it for a week or two, and shoot a roll or two of film of whatever they want. Take the best couple of shots and either email me JPEGs or send the photos to me for scanning. Then pass the camera on to the next on the list. I'll put up a webpage with everybody's shots as we go.

and after the recent activity on the photo album thead, and a couple of off board discussions of pictures, it occurred to me that it might be fun to see what this group could do.



The Argus C-3 is a neat camera.
Between 1939-1967 they sold nearly 2 million of them. Basic enough that pretty much anyone can take good photos, they also have the capabilites to do fairly advanced photography. I will incude a basic set of directions, and will be glad to offer any additional assistance needed.

So what I'd like to see is a post from anyone who wants to try this. If it looks like there's a reasonable interest, then we'll figure out a good route (so the camera spends more time being played with than sitting in postal trucks. [img]wink.gif[/img]
